EXPECTATION

It's a quiet night
So beautiful shines the light,
A expectant father
A hopeful mother

They prayed together
Showered love on one another
They worked harder
To make their life easier...

Then came a baby
That made them so happy,
This was in the early 80's
Now a contrary in this century;

Where has love gone to
This was real hirtherto,
Ooh this sweet feelings...
Has been crushed by the world dealings!

Now lies pain and hatred
This wasn't so expected,
No time for smile
No smile any time;

Those times are now memories.
In the 21th century
A bitter time of agony
Now it's time to share the story...

If happy ever after, exist,
Then they will still, be happy as "this"
Those love songs were fairy tales;
Not as they did actually, everyday feast.

See the realities of life...
How bitter men strive!
Always wanting to be better
Than the man next door.

This is a market,
Where we all buy and sell,
Not to be idle, and put hands in our pocket,
Else we will be locked in the masters cell.

So as they grew older,
love died after,
they were once soul-mates
but now they are perfect room-mates.

How then can one predict the future
Without having the temperance to incure
What the world have to feature
In this blur picture.

They had great expectations
It appeared in their expressions
Alas! they had few appreciations
For the few granted applications

The child born in happiness
Now grew up in despair
Tormented by fear!
He was strong; but weaked by hopelessness.

Husband and wife,
Became brother and step-sister
See what life can bear!
Their expectations coundn't stand the tide.
